The Education Centre, Dixon Street is the place to be on Wednesday, September 19th at 7.30pm for the Wairarapa Storytellers Spring Solstice Cafe. Get there early enough to see the arrival of the Prince and Princess of Spring. Who are they? Well they are of course, the bringers of Spring, with all its excitement, anticipation and fertility. Let’s welcome them, and the new season in style.
Wellington teller Tony Hopkins is the Guest Teller for the evening and expected to be as popular with audiences as he has been in the past. This will be a preview for Wairarapa audiences as Tony will be returning in October, as part of the Te Haerenga performance in Glistening Waters Festival of Storytelling @ Greytown Arts Festival.
Tony will be joined in the limelight by Hella Coenen who has a fine Spring tale to tell, and, as always, there will be room at the Open Mic for those who get their names on the list by the door.
So, get yourself along to the Spring Festival
