I live under the Tararua Mountains in the Wairarapa. It’s a province with cold Winters and hot Summers that frequently end in drought. My husband, Michael, and I play farmers on our 27 acres with some Sheep and a few Hereford calves and almost 500 olive trees, which finally came of age this year and yielded enough oil for us to bottle and sell. Up until now, we have had only enough to share with family and friends.
We also have lots of free range New Hampshire (rare breed) chickens that keep us in eggs with plenty left over to give to family and friends for most of the year. Being here is the culmination of a dream and lots of hard work. When we moved here in 1994, after Michael built our house, there was only one tree on the whole property and nowadays trees flourish.
Being a Storyteller, Counsellor and Celebrant is the best of all worlds, especially when combined with reading, writing and all the chores farming entails. It’s a great life. I hope you enjoy my website which was made for me by my nephew. And, I hope you’ll decide to use my services so I get to meet you in person.
